Description of Screen (Vibrating Sieve)
Dry sand screening machines can be divided into three types: linear vibrating screens, cylindrical screens and rotary vibrating screens. The sieve box of the screening machine adopts a completely sealed design, which effectively reduces the generation of dust during the working process. Screen box side plates, power transmission plates and other components are made of high quality alloy steel plates with long service life. The exemplary power of this machine is provided by a special new type vibration motor. This force can be adjusted using a block. The number of screen layers can be set from 1 to 3, and elastic balls are installed between the screens of each layer to prevent the screen from clogging and improve screening efficiency. Linear vibrating screen has the advantages of simple structure, energy saving and high efficiency, small area and low maintenance cost. It is an ideal equipment for sifting dry sand.
Principle of operation:
The material enters the screen box through the feed opening and is driven by two vibrating motors that create an exciting force that throws the material upward. At the same time, it moves forward in a straight line and sifts various materials with different particle sizes through the multi-layer sieve and discharges from the corresponding outlet. The machine features simple structure, energy saving and high efficiency, and a completely enclosed structure without emission of dust.
After drying, the finished sand (water content usually below 0.5%) is fed to a vibrating screen, which can be screened into different particle sizes and discharged through appropriate discharge holes as required. Generally, the screen mesh size is 0.63mm, 1.2mm and 2.0mm, the specific mesh size is selected and determined according to the actual needs.
