Grease VNIINP 232 (GOST 14068-79) (18 kg bucket)
Description VNIINP 232 grease is a high-temperature paste manufactured in accordance with GOST 14068-79. It is a medium viscosity petroleum oil thickened with lithium stearate. The paste also contains molybdenum disulfide. One of the main performance characteristics of the lubricant is extreme pressure and anti-wear properties, which reliably protect lubricated equipment from corrosion, abrasion and seizing and extends its service life. These qualities allow the paste to be used even under the most difficult conditions, including high sliding speeds and shock loads. VNIINP 232 grease has a working temperature range from -50°C to +300°C and can be used at any time of the year. Application Lubricants are widely used in modern technology, including in such industries as metallurgical, oil refining, mechanical engineering, etc. VNIINP 232 paste is designed to facilitate assembly, running-in and lubrication of the following parts: plain bearings; press fits; gear and screw drive hinges; heavily loaded low-speed friction units; spline connections; threaded connections. To lubricate moving mechanisms (running threads and spline joints), the temperature regime for using the lubricant should not be higher than +300°C. For threaded connections that are stationary during operation of the unit, the lubricant temperature is 400°C. After applying VNIINP 232 lubricant, its dispersed base evaporates. As a result, a durable composite film is formed, which increases the service life of lubricated surfaces. Characteristics Appearance and color Homogeneous ointment without lumps from dark gray to black Operating temperature range, ºС from -50 ºС to +300 ºС Penetration, mm-1 160…210 Effective viscosity at 0°С, Pa s, no more 300 Tensile strength at 20°C, Pa, not less than 1800 Colloidal stability under load, %, not more than 4 * The release of a liquid phase on the surface of the paste during storage is not a rejection sign. When the liquid phase is isolated, VNIINP 232 paste is mixed before use until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
