Car repair machine
The specialized car-repair machine VRM “Vityaz” is designed for maintenance and repair of freight cars during depot repairs and allows the following operations: straightening of side panels and side vertical posts; straightening of end panels and doors; prestressing of individual elements when performing welding work on the gondola car body; straightening, tightening and changing manhole covers; production of electric welding works; lifting the car on one side; changing door leaves; changing automatic coupler heads; changing wheel pairs in the presence of a technological gap or on a separate car; changing springs and friction wedges (if available); carry out loading and unloading operations. The Vityaz VRM can be equipped with a hand-held hydraulic tool connected to the machine’s hydraulic system: a wrench, a nut cutter, a grinder and a device for removing the draft gear (supplied upon additional request).
