Fuel oil 100
Heating oil is divided into two main grades: fuel oil M100 and M40. Their main difference is the viscosity and the presence of middle distillate fractions (diesel fuel) in the M40 fuel oil, which are added as an additive that lowers the pour point. The combustion type can be used as boiler fuel for various heat generators, as the main source of thermal energy in heating systems, boiler houses, etc. Furnace oil M100, as the most used type in such systems, is in greatest demand and popularity. M100 fuel oil is supplied either in special tank cars or bitumen semi-trailers. Some manufacturers pack it into metal barrels. Such containers are quite convenient for small consumption and are unlikely to be justified in industrial conditions.
