Quartz sand (crushed quartz) fraction 10-20
CJSC Quarry "Mount Khrustalnaya" mines and processes vein milky-white quartz from the deposit, which is called "Mount Khrustalnaya". Quartz sands are distinguished by high purity (SiO2 content of at least 97%) and low content of clay impurities. The developed surface of crushed particles of quartz sand has a high dirt holding capacity and retention capacity, which is an advantage when filtering water during the water treatment process. The high hardness and wear resistance of quartz sand particles allows them to work effectively in the sandblasting process of various surfaces, as well as as fillers for mortars and mixtures. The high silica content with a small amount of impurities ensures the exceptional resistance of quartz sands to various acids and high fire-resistant characteristics.
