In comparison with quartz sand of natural origin, crushed sand is advantageously distinguished by its monomineral nature and homogeneity, even more pronounced intergranular porosity, and therefore increased dirt holding capacity. Due to the fact that sand grains are obtained in the process of crushing monolithic quartz blocks, their crushed surface is very porous compared to natural rounded sand grains and has an even greater sorption capacity. All these qualities of crushed quartz sand, as well as aesthetic beauty, incredible mechanical strength, weather resistance and the ability to be beautifully painted, find it in constantly growing demand and a huge scope of application.
