Most often used for geological exploration drilling, survey work and for drilling blast holes.
The diameter of the well ranges from 85 to 250 mm (in some cases up to 800 mm), and the drilling depth with an air hammer is usually 30-80 meters, depending on the rock-cutting tool, rotation speed and impact energy.
