1.1 Switches and packet-cam switches of the PC type, hereinafter switches, are intended for installation as switching devices in alternating current electrical circuits with a frequency of 50 (60) Hz and voltage up to 500 V and in direct current electrical circuits with voltage up to 220 V. Switches for rated currents 10A, 16A and 25A are manufactured according to TU 3424-012-03965790-2010. Switches can be used: - to control multi-speed asynchronous electric motors with a squirrel-cage rotor in automation and control circuits of industrial installations; - to turn on and off the electrical power supply network of electrical panels, cabinets, control panels for various purposes and applications; - for switching control and measuring electrical circuits. 1.2 Switches by installation and fastening method, degree of protection, climatic version and placement category are manufactured according to Table 1.
