Technical calcium chloride quickly penetrates into the ice layer and requires the lowest consumption rates compared to other reagents. As an anti-icing reagent, the most common component included in most anti-icing reagents produced in our country is calcium chloride. In the solid state, calcium chloride absorbs moisture until it is completely dissolved, but even in the salt solution state it continues to release heat and create melting power until it reaches equilibrium between the vapor pressure of the solution and air. Non-toxic, fire and explosion safe, classified as low-hazard substances. It has the highest rate of destruction of the formed ice cover, also has the greatest penetration depth, capable of destroying up to 20 mm of ice cover.
