Ingidol DT
Ingidol DT" is an organic inhibitor of swelling of clays that "cement" mudstone-like and siltstone deposits and is used in mineralized or salt-saturated water-based drilling fluids.
"Ingidol A" can be used as a secondary inhibitor in clay-free biopolymer potassium chloride solutions, for example, when drilling flat and horizontal shafts. During the initial opening, "Ingidol A" is used if the clay content of the terrigenous reservoir exceeds 15 - 20%, and the permeability is not higher than 50 mD. In this case, in addition to the inorganic inhibitor (potassium chloride), it is advisable to introduce “Ingidol A” into the drilling fluid, which prevents clogging of the low-permeability reservoir as a result of swelling of formation waters.
