Varnish PF-170 is intended for obtaining weather-resistant coatings on previously prepared surfaces during construction and repair, mainly on surfaces made of aluminum and its alloys, and as an additive to glyphthalic and pentaphthalic enamels to increase the gloss of coatings. Conditions of use: Varnish PF-170 is applied with a brush or spray gun in at least two layers on a clean surface. To dilute the varnish, use xylene, solvent or a mixture of one of these solvents with white spirit in a 1:1 ratio. Before use, after storage at subzero temperatures, the varnish is kept for 24 hours at room temperature and mixed thoroughly. If a film forms on the surface, filter. Surface preparation: Surfaces to be painted must be clean and dry. Wooden surfaces are scraped, sanded and dust-free. Before applying PF-170 varnish to a wooden surface, it can be treated with a special filler, drying oil, or stain. The metal surface must be cleaned to a shine from rust and scale. The cleaned surface is dusted and degreased, for which it is wiped with a rag soaked in white spirit. Varnish consumption for a single layer coating: 55-60 g/m². Drying time for each layer: 72 hours at t°C 18-20°C. Cleaning of tools: Upon completion of painting work, the tools are washed with xylene or solvent. The brushes are wiped with a dry cloth and generously lubricated with vegetable oil. Precautionary measures: When carrying out painting work, as well as after its completion, it is necessary to thoroughly ventilate the room. Use rubber gloves to protect your hands. Avoid contact with respiratory and digestive organs. If varnish gets on your skin, wash it with warm water and soap. Keep away from children! Storage conditions: PF-170 varnish is stored in a tightly closed container, away from heating devices, electrical devices, food products, in places inaccessible to children, protected from moisture and direct sunlight.
