Phosphoric acid is used:
- during road construction in the production of road emulsion for asphalt concrete,
- when soldering as a flux,
- for cleaning rust from metal surfaces. Forms a protective film on the treated surface, preventing further corrosion,
- in the composition of freons, in industrial freezing units as a binder.
Orthophosphoric acid is additionally used in the food industry as an acidity stabilizer.
