Design of lamps The lamps consist of a battery pack with a cover and a headlight, connected to each other by a flexible two-core cord. On the body of the battery pack there are brackets for securing it to a waist belt, and under the cover there is a fuse to protect the electrical circuits of the lamp from short circuit currents. The SGG.5M.05 lamp has three sealed nickel-cadmium batteries connected by jumpers in the body of the battery pack. The housing parts of the battery pack, cover and headlights are made of impact-resistant plastic. On the headlight body there is a switch for turning on the lamp lamp and selecting its operating modes: working (lamp current 1A) or emergency (lamp current 0.5A) and a charging unit through which the battery is connected to the charger. The headlight is attached to a miner's helmet using a bracket and a leaf spring. The lamps can be supplied with a focusing device and various batteries. The focusing device provides a narrow light beam for better illumination of distant objects.
