The impeller of the smoke exhauster DN 6.3 (fan VDN 6.3) includes a hub and an impeller. The impeller is a welded structure consisting of 16 backward-curved blades. These blades, in turn, are located between the main and conical disks. The impeller hub is made of cast iron or steel; compared to cast iron, the steel hub is more durable and shock-resistant. The diameter of the hub is determined by the diameter of the electric motor shaft, or by the diameter of the chassis shaft (bearing unit).
